Cooler weather has arrived, and the cravings for dark beers have begun. We have three amazing dark beers on tap at NoFo Brew Co you need to try.

3 Dark Beers to Try This Fall

Waiting on Winter – Black IPA | 6.2% ABV

Waiting on Winter is a wet hopped black IPA. It is wonderfully malty with a hint of chocolate and toastiness on the front end. You won’t forget that this is an IPA for long though. The hop profile masterfully balances the caramel-like sweet background with hints of pine, melon and citrus from the CTZ, Centennial, Amarillo, and Cascade wet hops. The back end presents a noticeably bitter, refreshing finish.

3 Dark Beers to Try This Fall

Summit Beer – Schwarzbier | 5.0% ABV

Brewed in Collaboration with our friend Kenny from Pass My Cup for Blacktoberfest 2022, Summit Beer is a schwarzbier that encourages you to hit the trail. Inspired by trail mix, this dark lager was brewed with chocolate, raisins, and peanuts. You get delicate aromatics of chocolate and nuttiness right away. There is a very light bitterness and toastiness on the backend. Grab your favorite trail mix, a crowler of summit beer and crack this one open this fall on your favorite Georgia summit.

My Porter Boy – Coffee Porter | 5.9% ABV

My Porter Boy is a smooth drinking beer that boasts a creamy, toasty flavor with notes of coffee and chocolate. We used over 10lbs of coffee from a local F orsyth County coffee company, Because Coffee. Crisp and rich in flavor, My Porter Boy is a team favorite and a beer we’ve had on since the beginning. Pro tip: This one is extra smooth when it’s on nitro.
